Mighty Marvel Masterworks: The Amazing Spider-man Vol. 2 Stan Lee, Steve Ditko The stories that built the Marvel Universe, from the brilliant minds of legendary creators now available in an accessible new format the whole family can enjoy!. This collection contains the final 17 issues from the short-lived Human Torch solo series, which ran from I thought the first 18 issues (collected in Marvel Masterworks: The Human Torch, Vol. 1) were pretty damn bad, but I am nothing if not a glutton for punishment so I decided to put on a stiff upper lip and give the rest of the series a shot. The text by the master himself, Stan Lee, are interesting, yet funny and direct enough. I read it really fast, I only wish they would release the next issues. This book is for readers who maybe owned the original comics back in the 60's or 70's and want to relive those moments.
